 Here is a list of tips for you on how to store and care for your Buzz Jolie jewellery:



Ensure to store your jewellery somewhere air-tight and away from moisture/anywhere damp. Do not store your jewellery in the bathroom or anywhere with excess moisture. 

Each one of our pieces is individually packaged in one of our air-tight ziplock bags, ensuring to keep your jewellery safe and dry, as well as being a great alternative to a jewellery box, perfect for if you are travelling, etc.






Cleaning your jewellery - Gold Filled & Sterling Silver

Pour a small amount of mild soap into warm water and use a small, soft toothbrush to clean your jewellery. Toothbrushes are ideal for cleaning jewellery with intricate details, which can otherwise be difficult to clean. We recommend doing this roughly once every 1-2 months.
Follow with a light polish to your jewellery with a soft cloth (gold filled and silver pieces) or polishing cloth (silver pieces), and make sure that your jewellery is dry before storing it away.


Cleaning your jewellery - Freshwater Pearls 

Try to prevent your freshwater pearls from being exposed to water, makeup, creams, chemicals and cleaning agents. Freshwater pearls cannot withstand silver polish. Do not use a silver-polishing cloth as it may dull your pearls.
Instead we recommend mild soap mixed with warm water. Use your fingers to gently clean your jewellery. Do not use a brush. Pat dry and lay flat until completely dry.





Avoid pools and bathrooms 

Do not store your jewellery in the bathroom/anywhere damp, near heaters, windows or in air-conditioned areas. Although showering with your jewellery is fine, we advise customers make sure that shampoos and conditioners are gentle, as some chemicals (including those in swimming pools) can negatively impact the look of the gold-filled & sterling silver pieces.


Avoid sleeping and exercising in your jewellery 

Exposure to certain chemicals may compromise the integrity of your jewellery. This includes but is not limited to: salt from perspiration, perfumes, chlorine, salt water and silver polish.

Exposure to certain chemicals may compromise the integrity of your jewellery. This includes but is not limited to: perspiration, perfumes, chlorine, salt water and silver polish. Ensure to apply moisturisers, creams and perfumes at least 10-15 minutes (or until dry) before wearing your jewellery.




Repairs & Replacements

It’s rare, but accidents can happen! All of our jewellery* has a warranty period of 2 months, from the date of purchase. Depending on the type of breakage and wear, we can offer a repair or a replacement in the case of a faulty product. Any items that may arrive faulty need to have been notified to us within 7 days of receipt of order.

Unfortunately, repairs and replacements outside of the warranty period may incur a fee.

*Unfortunately any personalised pieces (engraved or custom length) cannot be directly replaced. Depending on the type of breakage, we can offer a repair, however a direct will likely incur a fee.

Our warranty does not cover the ability to replace or exchange a product due to normal wear, and lack of care to our recommended product guidelines.

All jewellery repairs and replacements will come directly from our studio, therefore the buyer is responsible for return postage to us. For more information on what service to use, please get in touch with us as
